Silhouette Shooting is held each month, Spring to Fall, at 4:00 pm on the second Thursday of each month. Watch the calendar for actual shoot dates. Silhouette Shooting is very informal. We encourage shooters of all ages to enjoy knocking over the steel chickens, pigs, turkeys and rams as a change of pace from paper targets. The banks of critters are set up with the small chickens at about 40 yards, pigs at about 60 yards, turkeys at 75 yards, and rams at 100 yards. We encourage off-hand shooting, but many shooters enjoy using the shooting benches. If there is interest, we also set up dedicated pistol targets. We see this as a fun shoot for all ages and skill levels. However, we stress safe gun handling (management) and all safety rules are followed. For further information, call Dick Lee at 541-621-2989.
